As a Healthcare Assistant, you will work under the guidance of a Registered Nurse to provide quality clinical care.

Some Duties include but not limited to:

• Report to the charge nurse and complete delegated tasks in a timely manner
  
• Residents personal care tasks i.e. hygiene, grooming, toileting
  
• Including mobilising, shaving, brushing of teeth and hair
  
• Maintain documents in resident healthcare records
  

Skills and Experience

• New Zealand Certificate in Health and well-being level 2 or equivalent is preferred, but not essential!
  
• Experience as an HCA and a desire to build a career within a growing industry.
  
• You are on your feet most of the day, so it is important you are physically fit and able to work the shifts assigned.
  
• People skills with empathy for the elderly and their families.
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
  

Available shifts

• Weekly roster includes weekend and possible night shifts

Successful candidates must be eligible to work in New Zealand, hold a full New Zealand driver s license, able to drive to different locations, and pass reference checks.
