Interior Draughtsman - Joinery

Our client is looking for Product Testers for a 6 months contract role in Alpharetta, GA.

Skills:

Minimum of High School Diploma, with some college level work desirable.

3 years minimum experience performing testing and/or inspection in a laboratory setting or manufacturing environment, preferably in the medical device industry.

Experience using laboratory tools/instrumentation including (calipers, micrometers, vision systems, tensile testers, etc.).

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, working knowledge of other laboratory software and mechanical drafting a plus.

Average or better verbal and written communications skills.

Ability to organize and present data in a clear and concise manner. Preferred

Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering degree

Solidworks expertise

Ability to operate hand tools (drills, vises, dremel, etc

Some weekend availability as needed for execution of long-duration studies

Responsibilities:

Perform product testing as described in the appropriate ASTM, ISO, ANSI, AAMI or other published specifications or test methods

Strong understanding, experience, and execution of GLP, GDP, and GMP

Work closely with the product development teams and senior engineers to ensure testing strategies confirm the compliance of product under test with all specified requirements

Participate as a team member in the creation and implementation of effective test and validation plans Work closely with project engineers and technicians with minimum supervision

Develop, aid in validation, and review test procedures, methods and reports based on design specifications

Perform other duties as assigned

Working on various projects as assigned by the lead.

Using tools such as rotary blades, cutting shields, scissors and rulers.

Using machines including glue guns, bonding machines, sewing machines and scales.

Follows all lab procedures including hand washing, sanitization, and in work areas.
