Job Summary:
We are seeking a Sales & Marketing Manager to elevate the organizations market position driving increased revenues market share and profits both in the UAE and internationally. This individual will cultivate enduring collaborative relationships with existing new and prospective customers delivering tailormade products and solutions. The Sales & Marketing Manager will play a vital role in shaping the organizations longterm strategic plans identifying new opportunities and markets while actively supporting business development initiatives.
Job Functions & Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify qualify pursue and close sales opportunities with the objective of maximizing sales and driving growth of market share revenue and new markets(s) penetration.
- Account management: Develop and maintain close work relationships with UCNs current customers and work to develop and strengthen each account.
- Marketing and Presenting: Develop marketing material and technical presentations to educate customers on the benefit and advantages of UCN products with a focus on value creation.
- Work to develop and improve the Union Cement Company brand.
- Service Delivery: Work closely with all Union Cement Company functions to ensure service delivery excellence and proactive customer support. Lead service quality reviews and quarterly service quality meetings with customers.
- Regulatory: Maintain working knowledge of all current and future regulations and legislations pertaining Union Cement Companys business in UAE as well as all locations where we can work.
- Market Analysis: Conduct ongoing market evaluation to create understanding of market trends price points value chain and identify opportunities and entry strategies in new markets accordingly.
- Sales Planning: Develop periodic sales plans that provide for maximum growth profitability and market share while considering organizational efficiency (production packing stock levels logistics).
- Sales Forecast: Develop and maintain an efficient forecasting mechanism for sales based on customer planning cycles to allow the organization to proactively respond to demand and the market.
- Commercial Model Development: Use strong communication with customers to ensure UCNs commercial models are flexible and mutually beneficial.
- Quotations and Orders cycle: Work with customers to generate quotations that meet their technical and operational requirements and followup with Sales/Purchase orders to close opportunities. On the other side manages internally all the order cycle in accordance with companys internal processes.
- Implement approved pricing amendments with customers as required for market response.
- Achieve the annual targets assigned for each active/target market.
- Execute all other tasks required by the executive team.
Skills Experience & Background:
- Engineering degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent technical experience 15 years of experience in technical sales and marketing in production related heavy industries.
- Strong marketing experience with significant experience in the Oil & Gas industry in marketing sales business development consulting or strategy role.
- Deep experience in and knowledge of pressure pumping and cementing services.
- Deep understanding of business practices in the Middle East and Africa regions with experience in the upstream segment preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external teams.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills with the proven ability to meet deadlines.
