- Safely capturing and sedating wild animals for monitoring and treatment
- Administering medications in dosages calculated to match an animal’s body mass and metabolism
- Performing surgery and other interventions on a variety of different animals, including fish, amphibians, reptiles, mammals and invertebrates
- Efficiently managing a team of veterinary techs and assistants in a clinical or outdoors setting
- Conducting basic exams and evaluations
