About The Destination

The Opportunity

Four Seasons Bahrain Bay is currently looking for a Purchasing receiver.

What You Will Be Responsible For

Essential functions for the position include but not limited to the followings:

  • Contribute to overall operational efficiency of the section, to ensure day-to-day operational efficiency of the section.
  • Verify purchase requisition.
  • Visit market to get information of current supplying situation.
  • Keep contact with suppliers to obtain market information and negotiation.
  • Invite quotations with suppliers to obtain market information and negotiation.
  • Follow up on purchase requisition and purchase order passed for final approval.
  • Follow up on purchase orders and expedite delivery.
  • Check periodically the incoming goods upon delivery.
  • Negotiate with selected purveyors and obtain quotations.
  • Prepare comparison of tenders for purchasing decisions of food and beverage items.
  • Advise sample testing of Food and Beverage Items.
  • Search for reliable suppliers for smooth operation of the Company.

Qualifications For Receiver

  • Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Knowledge and Microsoft Office systems, including Word and Excel
  • Proven knowledge of inventory practices in the hospitality industry
  • Previous experience in Purchasing and Food & Beverage
  • Flexible schedule required to include weekends and holidays.
