Role Overview:

As a Marketing Manager at Playbook, you'll be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement. You'll lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience. Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans aligned with Playbook's goals and objectives.
  • Define target audience segments, messaging, and positioning strategies to effectively reach and engage key audiences.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with product launches, events, and other key milestones.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the resources and skills to achieve their goals.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to drive skill development and performance improvement.

Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, events, and partnerships.
  • Develop compelling messaging and creative assets that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies based on key metrics and insights.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.

Content Strategy and Development:

  • Develop and execute content marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and engagement.
  • Create high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including blog posts, articles, videos, webinars, and social media posts.
  • Manage content calendars, production schedules, and workflows to ensure timely delivery of content.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify content opportunities and develop compelling storytelling narratives.

Brand Management and Positioning:

  • Manage Playbook's brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment across all marketing communications and touchpoints.
  • Develop brand positioning strategies that differentiate Playbook in the market and resonate with target audiences.
  • Monitor brand health metrics and sentiment analysis to track brand perception and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with design and creative teams to develop brand assets, visual identities, and brand guidelines.

Performance Tracking and Reporting:

  • Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, engagement, and ROI.
  • Generate regular reports and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization to improve overall marketing performance.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Proven track record of success in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the EdTech or education sector.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on achieving marketing goals and objectivesves
