Role Overview:
As a Marketing Manager at Playbook, you'll be responsible for driving the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement. You'll lead a team of marketing professionals and collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with our target audience. Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies and plans aligned with Playbook's goals and objectives.
- Define target audience segments, messaging, and positioning strategies to effectively reach and engage key audiences.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with product launches, events, and other key milestones.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they have the resources and skills to achieve their goals.
- Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions to drive skill development and performance improvement.
Campaign Development and Execution:
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social media, email, events, and partnerships.
- Develop compelling messaging and creative assets that resonate with target audiences and drive engagement.
- Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies based on key metrics and insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and initiatives.
Content Strategy and Development:
- Develop and execute content marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, thought leadership, and engagement.
- Create high-quality, engaging content across various formats, including blog posts, articles, videos, webinars, and social media posts.
- Manage content calendars, production schedules, and workflows to ensure timely delivery of content.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify content opportunities and develop compelling storytelling narratives.
Brand Management and Positioning:
- Manage Playbook's brand identity, ensuring consistency and alignment across all marketing communications and touchpoints.
- Develop brand positioning strategies that differentiate Playbook in the market and resonate with target audiences.
- Monitor brand health metrics and sentiment analysis to track brand perception and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with design and creative teams to develop brand assets, visual identities, and brand guidelines.
Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, including traffic, conversion rates, engagement, and ROI.
- Generate regular reports and insights to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Identify trends, patterns, and areas for optimization to improve overall marketing performance.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in marketing leadership roles, preferably in the EdTech or education sector.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating teams.
