Job Description

Key responsibilities:

Product Management

  • Product Strategy:
  • Lead product management team to align product strategy with Global Business objectives.
  • Develop and execute a global product strategy for cable infrastructure, considering market demands, technological advancements, and competitive landscape.
  • Achieving revenue targets, emphasizing their contribution to the company's top and bottom line.
  • Lead the planning and deployment of cable infrastructure on Regional and Global scale.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure projects are executed efficiently and within budget.
  • Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee the product lifecycle, ensuring that products meet market demands and profitability targets.
  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with technical teams to define product requirements and specifications to support business development efforts.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities and threats in different regions.
  • Adjust product and infrastructure strategies based on regional market dynamics.
  • Sales Support: Provide sales teams with the necessary tools and materials to effectively sell telecom products and services.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that product offerings comply with telecom regulations and industry standards.
  • Planning and Forecasting: estimating future demand and aligning resources accordingly such as Revenue, cost of sale, Opex, Capex, etc…
  • Market Intelligence: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to expand our presence and revenue streams in the Global & wholesale sector.
  • Revenue Growth: Develop and implement revenue growth strategies, pricing models, and market penetration plans.

Management And Leadership

  • Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and guidance to teams of Product Managers and Global Sales professionals, fostering a collaborative and results-driven culture.
  • Team Development: Facilitate the growth and development of team members, helping them acquire the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their respective roles.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Encourage seamless collaboration between Product Management and Sales teams, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.
  • Performance Management: Establish performance metrics, KPIs, and objectives for the teams, monitor progress regularly, and implement strategies to enhance performance.
  • Team Empowerment: Empower team members to take ownership of their respective areas of responsibility, fostering accountability and initiative.
  • Performance Evaluation: Conduct regular performance evaluations, goal-setting sessions, and career development discussions with team members to support their professional growth and job satisfaction.

Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in telecommunications, business, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record in both team management and business development/product management roles within the telecom wholesale industry.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with telecom products, services, and technologies.
