Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in medicine.
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
• 5 years of residency training in General Surgery
• Fellowship or its equivalent such as Arab Board/Indian Board.

Experience:

• 8 to 10 years

License:

• Valid NHRA Medical License as Consultant (for Candidates within the Kingdom of Bahrain)
• For candidates applying from outside of the Kingdom of Bahrain should be eligible to have a medical license as per the NHRA PQR
• Current licensure in good standing

Responsibilities

• Examining patients and making diagnoses to determine the need for surgery.
• Reviewing patients medical history and planning the best procedure for treatment.
• Performing surgical procedures to prevent or correct injury disease deformities and patient function while adhering to regulatory and ethical protocols.
• Prescribing preoperative and postoperative treatments and procedures.
• Overseeing all treatments prior to and postsurgery and identifying associated risks.
• Maintaining the highest regard for patient dignity.
