Job Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the production of management accounts

Deputising for the finance manager in their absence

Role and Responsibilities;

• Assist preparation for management accounts and liaise with senior management
  
• Analysis of operational performance
  
• Assist with budgets and forecasts
  
• Completing balance sheet reconciliation s
  
• Fixed Assets recording
  
• Comparison analysis on monthly MI reporting
  
• Appling of accruals and prepayments
  
• Small aspect of purchase/sales ledger
  
• Possible payroll experience
  
• Assist in month-end reporting activities, including processing the general ledger transactions and
  
• Support internal audits
  
• Involvement in projects and continuous improvement in finance and controlling finances
  
• Other ad hoc duties as is required in a hands-on varied role
  
• Lead, support and advise the business stakeholders on financial ;
  
• Management of the accounts team
  
  

Requirements

Skills:

• Worked in a fast pace environment with High
  
• At least 3 years experience or Graduate with Accountancy/Finance ;
  
• Able to deputise for the Finance manager and take ownership of the management accounts process in the coming months;
  
• Team player
  
• Excellent IT skills, including experience of Xero and advanced Excel reporting, including pivot tables, and complex formulae
  
• Good attention to detail required
  
• Strong work ethic
  
• Previous experience in a similar role
  
• Ability to work as a team member
  
• Great communications skills to rely key information to other staff
  
• Ideally you will be studying CIMA or AAT qualified or a recent graduate
