Job Description

What will you do

As Chef de Cuisine - Banqueting, you will be responsible for leading our banqueting kitchen team and ensuring the flawless execution of extraordinary dining experiences for events, weddings, conferences, and other special occasions. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining the high culinary standards

Your responsibilities will include:

  • With the guidance of the Executive Chef, lead the banqueting kitchen - manage the daily food preparation and production for our conference & events guests
  • Assist in the design and implementation of menus that align with our luxury brand and standards
  • Lead, inspire, and mentor a team of talented chefs to consistently deliver exceptional banqueting experiences.
  • Work closely with the Food and Beverage team, Events Sales Coordinators, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events.
  • Manage food costs effectively, implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality, and contribute to achieving financial targets.
  • Support our kitchen team across other outlets as required

Qualifications

What You Need To Be Successful

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Cuisine in a luxury hotel or high-end catering environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to lead a team to success through a caring and coaching approach
  • Creative flair and passion for delivering exceptional culinary experiences.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organised and can thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  • Excellent knowledge and practise of food hygiene standards
