Job Role: Business Development Manager (B2B, Corporate Sales)

Role Summary:
The Business Development Manager will be instrumental in driving our corporate sales initiatives in Bahrain, specifically focusing on expanding our presence and partnerships within the corporate sector. Utilizing a robust network in Bahrain's corporate landscape, this role is pivotal for identifying, pursuing, and successfully closing corporate sales opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
Strategic Corporate Sales Acquisition:
- Proactively identify and secure high-value corporate sales opportunities within Bahrain's major corporate entities.
- Develop and nurture enduring, profitable business relationships to establish a strong pipeline for corporate sales.
Lead Generation & Networking for Corporate Sales:
- Utilize existing corporate networks in Bahrain to generate leads and cultivate business opportunities specifically tailored for corporate clients.
- Expand the corporate network through active participation in industry events, conferences, and forums, with a focus on corporate relationship building.
Corporate Sales & Contract Oversight:
- Present and negotiate tailored offline gifting solutions designed for corporate clients in Bahrain.
- Oversee the complete contract lifecycle, ensuring meticulous attention to corporate client requirements and delivering exceptional corporate sales experiences.
Monthly Target Achievement & Reporting:
- Develop and implement strategies to consistently achieve and surpass monthly corporate sales targets.
- Provide detailed monthly reports on sales performance, outlining achievements, challenges, and action plans to meet or exceed targets.
Client Relations & Corporate Account Leadership:
- Act as the primary point of contact for major corporate clients, consistently exceeding their expectations in corporate sales.
- Supervise post-sales processes to guarantee seamless contract fulfillment, timely deliveries, and exceptional corporate client satisfaction.
Strategic Alignment with Leadership:
- Collaborate closely with the Country Director, providing updates on key corporate sales developments, opportunities, and challenges.
- Align business development activities with the broader company objectives as set by the Country Director, with a strong emphasis on corporate sales.
- Regularly report on corporate sales performance, contract status, and corporate client feedback for strategic coherence and proactive problem-solving.
Team Leadership & Development for Corporate Sales:
- Guide and support junior BD team members in corporate client interactions and relationship building specifically for corporate sales.
- Mentor junior BD staff, sharing expertise and fostering professional development, particularly in the context of corporate sales.
Key Expertise and Competencies:
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is essential. Holding a Master’s degree in a relevant field is an added advantage. In certain cases, significant relevant experience may be considered in place of formal education.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 6 years in business development roles, ideally within the offline gifting sector or related industries, with a proven track record of success in corporate sales in Bahrain.
- Corporate Network: A well-established network within Bahrain's corporate sector, critical for effective business development and successful corporate sales.
- Negotiation and Contract Skills: Advanced skills in negotiation and contract management, with a focus on corporate sales, and the ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholder groups effectively.
- Language Proficiency: Proficiency in both English and Arabic is highly beneficial, facilitating effective communication in Bahrain’s multilingual business environment, particularly in the context of corporate sales.
- Communication and Presentation Abilities: Exceptional skills in communication and presentation, crucial for effectively conveying the company’s offerings and value proposition to potential corporate clients.
- Industry Insight for Corporate Sales: A comprehensive understanding of the offline gifting industry, specifically tailored for corporate applications and relevance in Bahrain.
