Working Capital Manager

Join us in this new role our dedicated and successful Finance team in Doha, Qatar ! Your Role The primary purpose of working capital management is to make sure the company always maintains sufficient cash flow to meet its short term operating costs and short-term debt obligations. (Current Assets-Current Liabilities) Supporting Business Units and Management as a business partner, by means of analysis, reports, projects, communication & implementation of corrective actions underlined by procedures and efficient processes, to further improve the cash flow. Efficient working capital management helps with the company's smooth financial operation, and can also help to improve the company's earnings and profitability. Management of working capital includes management of accounts receivables, deferred trade expenses, accounts payables, and accrued trade expenses for the company where the key performance indicators are set to evaluate the performance. Your Responsibilities • Responsible for Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, Cash and Bank overall for the Cluster and enforcement of full compliance with Corporate ICS Guidelines (Trade Receivables, Trade Payables, and Cash & Bank). • Driving Working Capital Targets (DSO,DPO, and DTE in days), liaising with National Management to achieve the targets. • Owner of the Working Capital MIS report. • Prepare corrective actions plans to improve the performance and arranging follow up visits and/or conference calls wherever applicable. • Conduct customer visits as required to review the current performance and seek ways to improve and arrange customer visits jointly with key account managers and/or NF to address collection performance issues (DSO). • Review and submit of Inter-company Loan Request to the regional head office to obtain approvals. • Meet or exceed regional working capital targets set by the regional treasury manager for the UAE cluster. • Maintain the relationship with the banks and implement banking tools to improve efficiency along with potential cost savings. • Ensure dividends declared will be paid to the corporate treasury on requested time line each year and if no payment feasible, working on alternative solutions. • Secure maintenance and full compliance of local ICS guidelines (Trades Receivables, Trade Payables, and Cash & Bank). Your Skills and Experiences • Knowledge of financial standards, principles and procedures, as well as financial computer systems and MS Office applications. • Knowledge and Understanding of Accounting . • Analysis of Financial Statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement. • Commercial understanding of Freight Forwarding & Logistics industry. • Good analytical and problem solving skills. • Excellent command in English and Arabic.
