A new opportunity has come up for Furniture manufacturing based in Sharjah. Our client is looking for a well-experienced Warehouse Admin responsible for maintaining the efficient operation of our warehouse facility, ensuring accurate inventory management, and supporting various administrative tasks related to the storage and distribution of furniture products.
In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
Inventory Management:
- Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing furniture items.
- Perform regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking activities.
- Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and categorization of products.
Order Processing:
- Receive and process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including packaging and labeling.
- Coordinate with the logistics team for timely deliveries.
- Address customer inquiries and provide order status updates.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory levels, order status, and warehouse operations.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of shipments, receipts, and inventory movements.
Administrative Support:
- Assist in the maintenance of warehouse safety protocols and compliance with industry regulations.
- Handle paperwork related to shipping, receiving, and returns.
- Manage office supplies and maintain a tidy and organized office environment.
- Support the warehouse manager in various administrative tasks as needed.
Communication:
- Collaborate with various teams within the organization, including sales, production, and customer service.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and logistics partners to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you need to meet the following criteria:
- At least 3 years of UAE experience
- ideally someone who has worked in furniture/ brand retail operations
- Willing to work and live in Sharjah (as accommodation will be provided by the client)
- Willing to work alternate 6 days a week. working 9 hours including lunch break
- knowledgeable of the warehouse management system
