Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Quality Inspector who will play a vital role in ensuring that the company delivers a defect free product to the customer and maintain compliance to our ISO 9001 Quality Management

Responsibilities:

• Performing quality inspections in the designated areas as per the established Quality Control Procedures and Work
• Producing Non-Conformance Reports and Rectification Notices on items that are not as per the required quality
• Conducting a Root Cause Analysis and problem-solving investigation as
• Performing quality inspection duties on all fabricated components and will identify defects as per fabrication inspection
• Assisting with customer and third-party inspection
• Compiling of Data
• Conducting Magnetic Particle / Die Penetrant testing (NDT assessments), under guidance of a level 3
• Assist in maintenance of measuring equipment calibration as per QCPs which may entail; Calibration, Audits,
• Performing quality inspection duties on all receiving components and will identify defects as per receiving inspection
• Performing structural welding
• Conducting measurements using 3D-Arm for precision measurements including completing detailed
• The ability to co-ordinate and support the sign-off, for FRN (Factory Release Note).
• Compiling / improving Standard Operating
• Conducting process and supplier audits per audit
• Ensuring compliance to QMS

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

• At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar
• Qualified Red Seal Artisan, Diploma in Engineering, Quality or related
• Qualified Level 2 NDT
• Welding certification in line with standard AWS 2020 will be
• Experience in steel manufacturing
• Basic proficiency in the OFI module (SHEQX) and the ERP system (AX).
