Restaurant ManagerLocated in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned s Club, a private members club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.We are looking for a Restaurant Manager to work within The Ned Doha. If you have experience as a Restaurant Manager in a busy restaurant or hotel environment, and you are enthusiastic, passionate and knowledgeable about fresh food and good service then we want to hear from you.What we offer you as a Restaurant Manager:• One of the most competitive salaries in the industry• Complimentary meals on duty• Amazing learning and development programs• Discounted rates at The Ned Doha• Fantastic career growth opportunitiesA Restaurant Manager working with us entails the following:• Responsible for implementing and monitoring all front of house SOP throughout the restaurant.• To monitor employee development in order to promote a climate of enthusiasm and encouragement.• To ensure that relevant grooming standards adhered to, both personally and by the team, reflecting a professional image for our guests .• To report and follow up all maintenance defaults effecting efficient and professional delivery of service• To ensure that guest satisfaction is monitored and where appropriate, rectified throughout their meal experience.• Conduct when on shift briefings prior to service to include, covers, VIP, special requests• To communicate with Head Chef / Bar Manager in order to share information and ensure smooth running of service.• To ensure that mise en place positioning is completed accurately and monitored to ensure that appropriate stocks are available• To prepare table plans according to reservations and to ensure that tables are constantly cleared and reset according to the reservation plan.• To take guest food and beverage requirements, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in service delivery• To prepare and present accurate bills• Exemplary knowledge of all food and beverage items served• To ensure service and Back of House areas are kept clean at all times and work will be conducted according to our Health and Safety standards• To handle guest comments and complaints in the appropriate manner and communicate to senior Restaurant Management.Qualifications:• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager in a luxury hotel• Proven work experience in a restaurant setting• Strong knowledge of restaurant management software• Great interpersonal and communication skills• Willingness to work flexible hours• Excellent problem-solving skills• Exceptional people skills• Passionate for helping peopleFriendliness, efficiency and a can-do' attitude are what people have come to expect when they visit us and our success will depend on your willingness to go that extra mile.
