The Graduate Program is a two year rotational program offering on the job training experience in a fast paced dynamic environment for new and recent graduates.
The program focuses on providing participants with professional development opportunities and real time tailored personal growth opportunities.

To help realize this goal our graduate scheme provides a range of leadership development that run parallel to the businessspecific training youll receive. Mentoring Scheme: Youll be assigned a senior mentor within the business. Theyll have real insight into how best to manage your career and theyll be available for advice and guidance at the times you need them most.

Communication Influencing and Business Partnering: This program provides you the ability to work effectively across the organisation and will be critical to your future success. This program will challenge your thinking and really develop your interpersonal style and skills.

Teamwork: Maximizing team performance is a skill well be keen to help you develop. Short courses and individual coaching will seek to help you develop your understanding of team dynamics and your impact on others.

Job Rotations: Four sixmonth placements will provide you with specialist knowledge of our operations with the below business areas.

We have roles available in the following business areas:

1. Global Banking and Markets
Global Banking and Markets focuses on building strong partnerships with our clients and using our global network to help them achieve consistent longterm performance. Our understanding of longterm economic trends and insight into opportunities on an international level enables us to develop product and services for governments corporates and institutions.

2. Commercial Banking
HSBC Commercial Banking operates in around 60 countries and territories covering the developed and developing markets that matter most to our customers. Through our teams of relationship managers we connect businesses to opportunities helping them to thrive and grow.

3. Wealth & Personal Banking
Wealth and Personal Banking serves more than 50 million customers worldwide. Our employees help customers to manage their daytoday finances and save for the future. We offer career opportunities ranging from customer service and relationship management jobs in branches to roles in product development sales strategy asset management and insurance. Generalist specialist and managerial roles are available at all levels.

4. Digital Business Services
HSBC Digital Business Services (DBS) provides essential operational services IT and technical support to help the HSBC Group function effectively on a daytoday basis. We use our expertise and technology to improve the banks customer service and efficiency. It has responsibilities that include: Running customer service operations and business processes from contact centres to payments processing Developing software and applications that underpin HSBCs banking systems Managing IT systems infrastructure and support Implementing major strategic change programmes Procuring goods and services for the Group Managing HSBCs global corporate real estate portfolio.

5. Global Functions
HSBCs Global Functions (GF) play a vital role in supporting the banks Global Businesses and offer a broad range of career opportunities in areas from legal risk and finance to human resources sustainability marketing and communications. Our operational and functional teams around the world help HSBCs Global Businesses to operate efficiently and effectively on a daytoday basis. They also focus on controls and governance to reduce risk and protect the Groups reputation.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

o Bachelors degree in a relevant field.
o Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors
o Exposure to and appreciation of working in a global environment
o Strong team skills promoting an environment of cooperation and trust overcoming resistance where encountered
o Possess analytical and financial skills
o Good prioritizing organizational and time management abilities
o Ability to make decisions
o Good verbal and written communications skills
