This is a remote position.

Sunbytes is seeking a full-time remote Senior DevOps Engineer to strengthen our new team. Specifically for our Dutch client in the IoT security industry. Our new team is composed of talented individuals from across Europe and Asia, working with our client in the Netherlands to deliver innovative software solutions for the IoT security industry.

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Sunbytes, you will work with a talented team of software engineers to create innovative products that deliver real value to our clients.

As we are building a new international team, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer who loves the challenge of building new tools and processes that work efficiency in development. This position, when successful, will be a long-term position with a great opportunity to grow with the client's success.

Responsibilities:

• Setup a secure infrastructure in an Azure environment.
  
• Build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline.
  
• Monitor the processes during the entire lifecycle for their adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing wastage.
  
• Encourage and build automated processes wherever possible.
  
• Identify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk management.
  
• Manage incidents and analyze the root cause.
  

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in software development and DevOps
  
• 3+ years experience in Azure environment
  
• Understand customer requirements and project KPIs
  
• Experience with cyber security standards selection and implementation
  
• Azure, Kubernetes
  
• Github (Github actions)
  
• Experience creating and working with a highly secure infrastructure.
  
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical information in simple terms
  
• Self-motivated and continuous learner with a passion for software development
  
• Collaborative team player with a transparent communication style
  
• Careful and highly organized, with strong attention to detail
  
• Proficient in English
  
• Long-term commitment
