Chief Accountant

Job Summary • Perform financialanalysis and reporting to management as needed. • Performmonth-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journalentries • Coordinate with finance team to completeassigned accounting tasks within deadlines • Evaluatecomputerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to ITteam for performance improvements • Generate financialreports and statements to Managers for review • Analyzefinancial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions. • Monitor expenditures, analyze revenues and determinebudget variances and report the same to management. • Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timelyfashion. • Provide guidance to other Accountants whenneeded. • Assist in budget preparation and expensemanagement activities for assigned accounts • Assist inauditing activities by providing necessary information andpreparing requested documentations. • Monitor and recordfinancial transactions according to company policies andregulations. • Review and recommend changes to existingaccounting procedures • Maximizes the hotel cash flowperformance through controlling the disbursements. • Enforces documents and establishes the adequate control system forall expenses for assets protection and ensure that control will notaffect the guest service
