Job Description
International Community Schools (ICS) is seeking a qualified and passionate Physics Teacher to join our British Curriculum branch Al Maharat Shakhbout City Abu Dhabi starting April 2026. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality Physics instruction aligned with the British National Curriculum fostering curiosity critical thinking and strong academic outcomes among students.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan prepare and deliver engaging Physics lessons in line with the British Curriculum
Teach Physics at IGCSE level (AS/A Level experience is an advantage)
Assess monitor and report on student progress effectively
Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student learning needs
Use practical experiments and modern teaching strategies to enhance learning
Maintain accurate academic records and contribute to curriculum development
Support school activities enrichment programs and professional development initiatives
Maintain a positive safe and inclusive classroom environment
Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Physics or a related field
Teaching qualification (PGCE . or equivalent)
Experience teaching the British Curriculum
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to student development and academic excellence
