Job Title: - Coating Specialist Offshore Project
KBR is looking for talented individuals to join our PMC team to work on an exciting project as a Coating Specialist for a PMC project to be based in Abu Dhabi in Client Proposed office
- Job Purpose:
- Technical Support and provides specialist technical advice and consultancy to all ADNOC Offshore Projects on all aspects related with Protective Coating Internal linings Insulation Passive fireproofing sub-sea Pipeline Coating & Riser Coatings
- Accountabilities:
- Review all Project related addendum specifications related to Coating Insulation PFP Sub-sea Pipeline & Riser Coating requirement with accordance to Companys Specifications.
- Assess supplier / vendor products and carry out all related qualification(s).
- Act as a liaison between Contractors suppliers and PMC to resolve technical issues clarify Company Coating specifications requirement
- To evaluate each Technical Queries & Concession requests based on its merits / demerits
- Oversee compliance with project specifications and establish rigid QA/QC campaigns in terms of qualification selection application and all related testing & Inspection.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) studies on all coating failures while also identifying best practices to better overall efficiency.
- Qualification Experience Knowledge:-
- Minimum Qualification :- Bachelor of Engineering from an accredited university
- Good knowledge of English
- 15 years of experience in Painting / Coating PFP Insulation field of Oil / Gas Operational facilities
- Professional Certifications
- AMPP (Formally NACE) International Coating Inspector Certification Level III or equivalent.
- AMPP Protective Coating Specialist (PCS) Certification or equivalent
- Passive Fire Fireproofing Inspection Specialty
- Sub-Sea Pipeline Coatings Inspection Specialty
