Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Auto Mechanic Heavy Machinery to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy machinery maintenance and repair with a focus on vehicles used in the oil and gas industry. This is a full-time permanent position with competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy machinery used in the oil and gas industry including but not limited to trucks excavators bulldozers and cranes.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs and replacements.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of projects.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep up-to-date with industry advancements and technologies to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent with vocational training or certification in heavy machinery maintenance and repair.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as an auto mechanic with a strong background in heavy machinery.
- Experience working with vehicles and equipment used in the oil and gas industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including engines transmissions and hydraulics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment.
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
