KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and develop interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business decision-making.
- Translate business requirements into insightful visualizations and data models that deliver measurable value.
- Ensure data accuracy consistency and performance of Power BI solutions by implementing best practices in data modeling and DAX.
- Integrate Power BI with data sources including Azure Data Lake Databricks SQL databases and other enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with business users data engineers and data scientists to enable data accessibility and drive self-service BI adoption.
- Monitor report usage and performance providing recommendations for optimization and training where required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years of experience in BI development data analysis or reporting roles.
- Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop Power BI Service and Power Query (M).
- Solid understanding of data modeling techniques star/snowflake schemas and visual storytelling principles.
- Experience working with data from Azure Databricks Azure SQL Data Factory and other cloud data platforms.
- Familiarity with SQL and working knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics is a plus.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholder requirements and translate them into scalable BI solutions.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain data concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
