Senior Electrical Design Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi.

Role Overview

As a Senior Design Electrical Engineer you will lead the electrical design scope across a variety of infrastructure buildings and transport projects. You will provide technical direction mentor junior engineers and ensure delivery excellence in compliance with local authority regulations and international standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of electrical systems including lighting power distribution fire alarms earthing and lightning protection.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings schematics and layouts using AutoCAD Revit and Navisworks.
• Conduct electrical calculations: load analysis short-circuit analysis voltage drop and cable sizing.
• Ensure compliance with DEWA ADDC UAE Fire Code and other authority requirements.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
• Supervise junior engineers and ensure adherence to delivery standards and procedures.
• Provide technical leadership and resolve design challenges using industry best practices.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure repeat business through excellent service and delivery.
• May be responsible for smaller or routine projects as Project Manager.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 8years of experience in electrical design preferably in the UAE.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit Navisworks and electrical design software.
• Strong understanding of UAE authority requirements and international codes.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor engineering teams.
• Excellent problem-solving coordination and communication skills.
