Senior Data Specialist

A Senior Data Specialist is responsible for overseeing thecollection processing and interpretation of data to inform businessstrategies and support operational needs. This role involves working closelywith clients to understand their business needs analysing complex datasetsand delivering actionable insights that drive business decisions.

Responsibilities

1. Client engagement and consultation. Work closelywith clients to gather requirements define project scopes and provide expertdata solutions.

2. Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholdersto align project goals with client needs.

3. Lead data management initiatives including datagovernance data architecture and data quality improvement.

4. Strong understanding of data governanceprinciples practices and frameworks.

5. Provide strategic guidance on data managementdata governance and best practices.

6. Experience with data security privacyregulations and compliance requirements in UAE.

7. Utilize Business Process Management (BPM)methodologies to enhance data workflows and optimize operations.

8. Develop and maintain data documentationincluding data dictionaries and data lineage documentation.

9. Monitor and enhance data security ensuring compliancewith data protection regulations like GDPR and UAE data privacy laws.

Education Level and Career Experience

Education

Bachelors degree in computerscience Data Science Information Technology or a related field.

Professional certificationsrelated to data management data science or business intelligence ( Data Management Professional (CDMP) Certified Analytics Professional(CAP).

58 years of experience in dataanalysis data management or business intelligence with at least 23 years ina senior or leadership role.
