ملخص الوظيفة
General Description of Role and Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of mechanical works including HVAC plumbing fire protection and piping systems to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Monitor installation processes and materials to verify adherence to approved shop drawings and method statements.
- Identify and report any discrepancies or quality issues and ensure that corrective actions are implemented promptly.
- Review and verify material submittals test reports and quality assurance documents.
- Conduct witness testing and commissioning activities to verify system performance and functionality.
- Maintain accurate inspection records prepare daily reports and document nonconformance issues.
- Coordinate with project engineers contractors and other stakeholders to address technical challenges and ensure smooth project .
- Ensure that all mechanical works comply with local regulations safety standards and quality assurance procedures.
- Participate in project and coordination meetings to discuss progress quality concerns and resolutions.
- Assist in final inspections and project handover including preparing punch lists and verifying rectification works.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills:
- Diploma or bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical inspection within largescale construction projects preferably in the UAE.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems including HVAC plumbing fire protection and piping installations.
- Proficiency in using inspection tools and software (e.g. AutoCAD MS Office).
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g. ASHRAE NFPA local authority regulations).
- Excellent attention to detail analytical thinking and problemsolving abilities.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
