To lead and manage the preparation of accurate cost estimates for civil construction projects, ensuring competitive and profitable bids while complying with company standards and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Tendering & Estimation:
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to understand project scope and requirements.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil works, including earthworks, concrete, steel, finishing, and infrastructure.
- Analyze and interpret technical documents, BOQs, and contractual conditions.

Cost Analysis & Pricing:
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Prepare rate analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
- Ensure accurate pricing strategies aligned with market conditions and company objectives.

Risk Assessment & Value Engineering:
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies.
- Suggest cost-saving alternatives without compromising quality or compliance.

Coordination & Communication:
- Liaise with project managers, procurement, and design teams for technical and commercial clarifications.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits when required.

Documentation & Reporting:
- Prepare tender submission documents, including technical and commercial proposals.
- Maintain updated cost databases and historical records for future reference.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 8–10 years in estimation/tendering for civil construction projects in the UAE/GCC.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., Candy CCS, Primavera, MS Excel).
- Strong knowledge of UAE market rates, suppliers, and subcontractors.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Additional Requirements:
- Familiarity with FIDIC and local contractual practices.
- Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
