Role Summary:
The Group Accountant will manage multi-country accounting for operations across Lebanon UAE Ghana and Canada. Responsibilities include financial reporting reconciliations inter company coordination and compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate accounting records for multiple entities including GL AP AR bank reconciliations and fixed assets.
Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L; balance sheet cash flow and variance analysis.
Manage multi-currency transactions (USD AED LBP CAD GHS) and inter company accounts.
Coordinate with external auditors tax advisors and regulatory bodies in each country.
Prepare cash-flow projections and support treasury management.
Ensure proper documentation for trading manufacturing real estate investments and loans.
Implement financial controls such as payment workflows vendor approval and expense.
Assist in evaluating new investments property transactions and CAPEX projects.
Support ERP/accounting software improvements or digitalization.
Requirements
58 years accounting experience; multi-entity multi-currency background preferred.
Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/CPA/CMA is a plus but not required.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting reconciliations and IFRS basics.
Excellent Excel skills; exposure to ERP systems preferred.
Strong English; Arabic is an advantage.
Must be able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
