About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Documentation Technician to join our dynamic team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for someone passionate about design documentation CAD tools and contributing to high-quality engineering deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Drafting: Produce basic pattern designs and detailed drawings using CAD software ensuring alignment with design features and product style
- Documentation Control: Maintain up-to-date drawing registers deliverables and quality records. Issue transmittals and manage document flow across teams and contractors
- Process Improvement: Suggest enhancements to existing procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Project Support: Assist in project coordination including presentations approvals and tracking deliverables
- Software Maintenance: Monitor and report software defects contributing to application stability
- Quality Assurance: Conduct complex tests to verify specifications and reject nonconforming materials
Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in CAD and documentation systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in engineering or infrastructure projects is a plus.
Stakeholder Engagement
Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams including design engineers project managers and document controllers. Occasional client interaction may be required under supervision
