We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist - Stakeholder Management to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab Emirates. The Specialist Stakeholder Management is responsible for facilitating project-related approvals permits licenses and regulatory compliance for small to medium-sized projects. Acts as a key liaison between the company stakeholders and government authorities to ensure timely and accurate communication documentation and project progression.
Responsibilities:
- Understand stakeholder systems such as tracker preparation and monitoring delays affecting project schedules.
- Provides support for planning efforts affecting impacted stakeholders for all project plans including governance and communication with end users and stakeholders to maintain a consistent and accurate message from project staff.
- Responsible for developing Stakeholder relationships as the face of AECOM.
- Maintains the implementation of the stakeholder(s) management register and updates as required.
- Competent in planning processes required to coordinate with the authorities and government entities for clarifications justifications and permissions from statutory authorities.
- Facilitates SM/ unit Lead/Design Engineers/ Project Managers with the overall permitting process to secure required Approvals NOCs and Permits for the projects.
- Support PMs in delivering required documents on schedule and in accordance with authorities requirements guidelines and standard specifications.
- Coordinates with Government authorities regarding project submissions revisions clarifications approvals justifications and approvals by statutory authorities.
- Reviews all document completion processes to be submitted as required by the local authorities on behalf of AECOM.
- Monitors projects progress notifies the PM/unit Lead of any potential risks in the permitting process that could impact the schedule and periodically updates status via dashboards.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Architecture or Engineering.
- 2-3 years of experience in stakeholder management or related field
- Proven track record of successful stakeholder engagement strategies
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Local Authority Engineer registration preferred.
