ملخص الوظيفة
Job Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret electrical drawings plans and specifications to ensure proper installation and execution of all electrical works on-site.
- Supervise and inspect electrical installations including power distribution lighting fire alarm systems and ELV systems to ensure compliance with project standards and local authority regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants main contractors subcontractors and other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of electrical works.
- Prepare and review technical submittals method statements material approvals and shop drawings.
- Perform load calculations cable sizing voltage drop analysis and equipment selection as per project requirements.
- Monitor progress of electrical works ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems and ensure proper documentation and handover.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Attend site meetings coordination meetings and technical discussions as required.
Key Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 7 years of total experience in electrical engineering within the construction industry with at least 5 years in the UAE/Gulf region.
- Strong knowledge of local authority regulations (e.g. DEWA ADDC SEWA QCDD etc.)
- Proficient in AutoCAD MS Office and electrical design software (e.g. ETAP Dialux or equivalent).
- Excellent understanding of electrical codes and standards.
- Strong problem-solving communication and coordination skills.
