Position: Project Engineer
Experience Required: 5 years
Location: Abu Dhabi
Type: Fulltime
Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Project Engineer Electrical to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning design execution and completion of electrical systems for construction and engineering projects. This role requires a detailoriented professional with experience in project management electrical engineering design and field supervision to ensure that projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest quality standards
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and review project plans specifications and schedules for electrical engineering projects.
- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines construction teams and subcontractors to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems with other project elements.
- Conduct feasibility studies risk assessments and cost estimations for project components
- Design review and approve electrical systems schematics and layouts according to project requirements and industry standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations codes and standards including NEC IEEE and local building codes.
- Prepare technical reports drawings and documentation for project approval and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee the installation testing and commissioning of electrical systems including power distribution lighting control systems and instrumentation.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure quality standards are met and identify any potential issues early.
- Monitor project progress and resolve any technical issues or deviations from the project plan.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for procurement of materials and equipment ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project specifications.
- Review vendor proposals select appropriate materials and maintain a balance between quality and budget.
- Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 35 years of experience in electrical engineering within the construction engineering or industrial sectors.
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles project management and construction processes.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit and electrical design software.
- Familiarity with industry standards and codes such as NEC IEEE and IEC.
- Excellent communication problemsolving and organizational skills.
