Position: Irrigation Specialist / Engineer

Design and Planning:

• Develop irrigation system designs based on project requirements soil conditions and water availability.
• Create detailed plans schematics and technical specifications for irrigation systems.
• Conduct site assessments to evaluate irrigation needs and determine appropriate system designs

System Installation and Maintenance:

• Manage the installation of irrigation systems including sprinklers drip lines pumps and valves.
• Oversee the installation and integration of Netafim irrigation systems including automation components and climate control technology.
• Ensure proper calibration and testing of systems to achieve optimal performance.
• Monitor system performance and if need to maintain report to maintenance team to carry out maintenance and repairs as needed.

Project Management:

• Manage irrigation projects from conception through to completion ensuring adherence to budgets timelines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with contractors vendors and other professionals to ensure project success.
• Prepare and review project documentation including contracts reports and progress updates.
• Implement safety protocols and procedures to protect personnel and equipment during installation and maintenance.

Water Management:

• Analyze water usage data to optimize irrigation efficiency and minimize waste.
• Implement water conservation techniques and technologies to promote sustainable water use.
• Stay informed about advancements in irrigation technology and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree /diploma in Agricultural Engineering Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing installing and managing irrigation systems.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation technologies water management practices and sustainable solutions.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for irrigation design and management.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Ability to perform physical tasks associated with system installation and maintenance.

Working Conditions:

• The role may require occasional travel to project sites.
• Flexible hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues
