Black & Grey HR is hiring for a renowned University in the UAE. Our client is looking for a Fundraising Officer who will be responsible to spearhead the universitys fundraising initiatives. Key responsibilities include identifying and cultivating potential donors writing tailored proposals and securing financial contributions to support the university s strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will be a highly driven individual with strong relationshipbuilding skills capable of leveraging their network to generate fundraising opportunities. Resilience sales acumen and the ability to thrive in a goaloriented environment are essential.

Fundraising Strategy: Lead and execute fundraising campaigns in alignment with the universitys strategic plans.
Donor Cultivation: Utilize personal and professional networks to identify potential donors and secure financial support.
Prospect Engagement: Actively engage with individual and organizational donors to solicit contributions and foster longterm partnerships.
Proposal Development: Craft persuasive proposals that align with donor interests ensuring they reflect the impact and importance of contributions.
Donor Research: Conduct comprehensive research to identify new donor prospects and assess their capacity and interest in supporting the university.
Relationship Management: Maintain continuous communication with donors to nurture relationships track engagement and ensure pledges are fulfilled in a timely manner.
Collaboration: Work closely with academic and administrative departments to identify potential fundraising opportunities.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to regulations policies and ethical standards governing fundraising practices.
Documentation: Maintain detailed records of donor interactions contributions and pledges according to internal protocols.

Requirements


Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Communications or a related field.
35 years of proven experience in fundraising sales or business development preferably in the education or nonprofit sector.

Required Skills & Competencies:
Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional ability to build rapport influence decisionmakers and develop meaningful relationships with prospective donors.
Networking Proficiency: Proven track record of identifying engaging and securing commitments from donors.
Research & Proposal Writing: Strong experience in donor research and creating compelling tailored fundraising proposals.
Resilience & Persistence: Ability to remain positive and persistent even in the face of setbacks or rejections.
Team Collaboration: Ability to work independently while also being an effective team player.
CRM Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM systems is highly desirable.
