Job Title: Cost Controller

Location: Abu Dhabi UAE

Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated Cost Controller with a solid background in manufacturing industry practices to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of relevant experience in cost control auditing and ERP implementation. With a focus on cost deduction strategies the Cost Controller will play a pivotal role in optimizing our operational efficiency and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Cost Control and Analysis:
   • Develop implement and maintain cost control procedures to monitor and analyze expenses across various departments.
   • Analyze cost variances investigate discrepancies and provide actionable insights to management for cost reduction and process improvement.
   • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to cost control measures and identify areas for optimization.
2. ERP Implementation and Management:
   • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to implement and customize ERP systems to streamline cost tracking and reporting processes.
   • Oversee the integration of cost control modules within the ERP system and provide training to endusers for effective utilization.
   • Continuously evaluate and enhance ERP functionalities to meet evolving business needs and improve data accuracy.
3. Budgeting and Forecasting:
   • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts by providing accurate cost data and insights.
   • Monitor budget performance against actual expenditures highlight deviations and recommend corrective actions as necessary.
   • Participate in strategic planning sessions to align cost objectives with organizational goals and objectives.
4. Financial Reporting and Compliance:
   • Prepare timely and accurate financial reports including cost analysis reports for management review and decisionmaking purposes.
   • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards regulatory requirements and internal controls related to cost accounting practices.
   • Liaise with internal and external auditors during audit processes and address any audit findings related to cost control activities.
5. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
   • Proactively identify opportunities for cost reduction efficiency improvements and process optimization throughout the organization.
   • Lead or participate in crossfunctional teams to implement costsaving initiatives and best practices.
   • Stay updated on industry trends benchmarks and bestinclass practices in cost control and recommend relevant strategies for adoption.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field. MCom CMA or CA qualification preferred.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in cost control preferably within the manufacturing industry in the UAE.
• Proven experience in ERP implementation customization and maintenance with proficiency in relevant ERP software.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
• Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy and adherence to deadlines.
• Ability to work independently prioritize tasks and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications
