Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Deep cleaning of the designated areas and corners of the building by sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuum, collecting trash, scheduled restroom cleaning etc.
- Carrying out daily inspection and maintenance activities and documenting every finding
- Must be able to use basic hand tools (i.e., screwdriver, hammer, pliers, etc.)
- Performs daily checks looking for hazards with lighting, handrails, seats, and steps, as applicable to the location
- Maintains strict control of tools and equipment.
- Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, replacing light bulbs, filling gaps on walls etc.
- Report to a facilities or maintenance personage for issues that need repairs.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of different cleaning techniques, chemicals and supplies
- 1 year experience as a Janitor or in a similar role
- Proven integrity towards company policies and always remain ethical
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fluency in Spanish and English is a plus

Proven experience as an electrician in an industrial and/or commercial setting Ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter etc.) Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability Able to stand, reach, bend and stoop for prolonged periods of time, have adequate balance and ability to climb ladders. Associates degree or technical school certification in industrial instrumentation and electrical skills preferred
