Technical Support Engineer - GAL

Overview

The Engineer Technical Support provides support for diagnosing reproducing and fixing software and hardware issues. Troubleshoot protocols running on client hardware to assist customer with problem isolation and resolution.

Will also be responsible for

1.Provide timely and effective IT related user support for the customer.
2. Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve hardware issues.
3. Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve common networking issues.
4. Troubleshoot diagnose and resolve common software issues.
5. Meet critical deadlines and be able to finalize goals within timely fashion.
6. Resolve customer problems on timely manner.
7. Provide windows framework troubleshooting.
8. Mentor and assign tasks to other team members as needed.
9. Ensure that IT services & resources are available on constant basis.
10. Install & support data recovery.
11. Resolve issues within the department that hinders work progress in anyway.
12. Take on additional duties and responsibilities relating to IT as designated by the supervisor/manager.
13. Providing remote support to various teams in different locations.

Experience

Minimum of 5 Years Experience as hardware Technical Support (or similar responsibilities)

• Minimum of 5YearsExperience in network hardware & software
• Experienced in managing multiple network sites ensuring constant availability of resources
• Strong experience and understanding in solving software and hardware issue
• Working knowledge of SAN Virtualization networking TCP/IP RAID back up & recovery LAN/WAN.
• Experience in managing Windows operating system Exchange Active Directory VMWare Citrix.
