Job Responsibilities:
To perform and lead analysis to find aerodynamic coefficients and/or airflow characteristics of an air vehicle (fixed wing and/or rotary wing UAVs) or of an individual external components/equipment via Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and/or other analysis methods.
To perform and lead CFD analysis of compartment bays for airflow characterization and/or for thermal coefficients determinations.
To lead design effort of aerodynamic shape of the AV.
To performance trade off studies related to aerostat and derivatives.
To collaborate effectively with system, avionics and mechanical teams to optimize aero and fluid dynamics and thermal management solutions for optimum system performance.
