Responsibilities
• Plan and allocate cargo on ships based on vessel capacities and cargo requirements.
• Analyze cargo dimensions, weight distribution, and stability factors to develop efficient stowage plans.
• Coordinate with port authorities, vessel operators, and customers to ensure compliance with loading and safety regulations.
• Optimize stowage plans to maximize vessel capacity and minimize risks.
• Monitor and track cargo throughout the loading and unloading process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve stowage-related issues.
• Maintain accurate records of stowage plans and cargo movements.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations related to stowage planning.
