As a growing organisation, we have vacancies for Support Worker Roles. We are looking for caring and vibrant individuals to provide support services with care to the individuals and make a difference to the lives of people in our community.
Duties & Tasks may include any or a range of the following or more, depending on individual needs, goals and circumstances.
- Assisting with a range of care services including personal care, domestic duties
- Social and community access within the home environment and out in the community.
- Transporting client to social outings and social engagements
- Assist with the delivery of activities to enhance the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of those in their care.
- Help supporting clients to achieve their goals and assisting them with many aspects of life
Requirements
Basic personal traits required by most clients in their support workers:
- Enthusiasm and passion for providing quality support to participants and families with patience and care for others
- A clear understanding of expectations from oneself working as a support worker
- Competence in written and verbal communication
- Able to perform task and domestic duties efficiently
- Flexibility in unplanned extension of a rostered shift
- Demonstrated experience in working effectively within crisis and emergency situations
All Support Workers aspirant to apply for the role must have:
- Current Drivers Licence or Approved License to Drive in Victoria
- COVID Vaccination Certificate
- Valid Police Check
- Certificate 3 &/or 4 in Disability, or other relevant experience (preferred)
