Boutique San Francisco law firm is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to join their team.
Duties include usual bookkeeping activities, such duties include but are not limited to:
- payroll
- accounts payable
- managing bank accounts
- managing Client Trust Account
- paying and tracking case costs as well as preparing Settlement Disbursals
- Interacting with finance company and responding to audit requests
Less frequent duties include:
- management of insurance policies, including health, liability, malpractice, Worker s Comp., employer and cyber attack
- Preparing and filing necessary tax documents for the city and county of San Francisco and preparation of income statements and other documents for tax preparation for our CPA tax accountant
- Basic HR functions to include onboarding of new employees
- managing notifications re pensions and profit sharing to employees, audits for workers comp and any other entities that require it
Pay DOE
Preferred five years of experience with civil litigation - commercial and/or real estate litigation a plus; Top notch organizational skills and attention to detail; Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills; Efficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook; Efficient with creating and editing PDF files; Ability to timely meet deadlines and work under pressure of litigation; Experience with commercial and/or real estate transactions are a plus; and Experience with Clio is a plus.
