Unit Research Administrator (Contract Analyst)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working in a professional capacity with industry and federal sponsors to negotiate clinical trial agreements for new clinical research and amendments for active studies.
• Accurately updating databases, storing applicable documents, and assisting with the generation of monthly reports.
• Develops and fosters relationships with Principal Investigator/study teams, Sponsors, Contract Research Organizations, and other research partners/customers.
• Assists with the development and maintenance of departmental workflows, guidance documents, and SOPs relative to job function.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM:

• This position requires a Bachelor's degree and 1 year of professional administrative experience; or a Master's degree.
• Progressively responsible related experience may substitute for the required education on a year for year basis.
  

PREFERRED:

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of experience in a research administration office in a university.
• Knowledge of USF policies, procedures, and systems (e.g., FAST, GEMS, and Banner).
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office programs (e.g., Excel, Access, and Word).
