Job Description

- Supporting the local sales organization/customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers
- Preparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and sales organization directives
- Analyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the sales organization
- Performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions in cooperation with sales team/local business obtaining better future results, defining cost for the proposed solution and communicating it to the sales organization
- Providing information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participating in the risk review assessment
- Ensuring that Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and integrity requirements are integrated and are up to date in their respective business process(es) and applications
- Participating in kick-off meeting organized by the project team, providing technical support during technical meeting, product presentations, and negotiations and offers product/solution/service-related training
