Technician Paint I Kanoo Pre Owned Vehicles I Sitra Bahrain

You will be required to be well versed in color matching, spraying & spot repair, surface preparation, polishing knowledge & skills. Spraying all types of paints without any defects onto complex surfaces & panels, matching the paint texture & color shades to the original finish. Creating and spraying metallic and pearl mic textures with less polishing on the surface. Identifying & remedying any paint defects that do not require repainting such as paint dust or any other similar defects. Featheredging, degreasing, and applying putty and primer to simple and complex surface areas. Apply proper masking over areas not subject to paint, to ensure a clean finish. Able to prepare damaged surface or undamaged panels for painting using appropriate primers, putty, surfacer fillers, and sealants. Able to perform, block, blend, and touch-up paint repair of solid, metallic and 3 stage pearl colors. You also need to Identify the appropriate polish product applicable for each application, to avoid any damage. You would be able to manage paint mixing process ensuring to achieve the appropriate required color combinations & code as per Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standard.

You will maintain repair service tools, spray gun, sanding machine, sanding block and paint mask etc. Ensure in a good condition, report missing and damaged tools to meet the repair requirement. Has capability to assist others technician in difficulties of repair and share skills expertise to improve the standard quality of repair and procedure.

The ideal candidate for this role will have good English communication skills, both written and verbal. You should have completed secondary school with 4 to 5 years in paint mixing, color matching, coating, paint booth experience and smart repair related work.
