What You'll Do
Responsibilities will include:
Under the direction of the Lead Water Resources Engineer within the Group:
- Apply best practice engineering and investigation skills to solve open channel flow problems, develop floodplain management solutions and conceptually design river engineering works including the design of bank stabilisation systems and hydraulic structures.
- Undertake hydrologic analysis with reference to best practice outlined in Australian Rainfall & Runoff
- Develop, apply and interpret mathematical models in the assessment of hydraulic processes using the range of available software, including RMA-2, TUFLOW, MIKE Flood and HEC-RAS
