Job Summary

Booking Holdings is currently undergoing a Finance Transformation initiative that will drive effective finance support for business management; promote strong governance and control in the organization; and have a world-class finance organization in terms of execution and efficiency. As part of this initiative, the Global Business Services team will provide centralized operational accounting processes from our Center of Excellence in Bengaluru, India. Reporting to the REgulatory Reporting Manager , this role will be responsible for a team that prepares the Statutory Reporting, Government Filing, VAT and Audit requirements for a group of entities.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibility

The Team Lead Regulatory Reporting will be responsible for the following:

  • Drives the execution of the Engagement letter (ex. External Auditor Deloitte or Third party such as PWC)
  • Monitors changes in GAAP, IFRS rulings ensuring compliance with local regulations
  • Reviews the preparation and submission of all Local Statutory Reporting requirements, Vat compliance and Government Filings for the entity
  • Ensures the timely review and filing of the Statutory financial statements
  • Monitors VAT payment and timely VAT submission
  • Reviews VAT reports and analysis
  • Monitors all government or local reporting requirements of the entity
  • Coordinates the work with External auditor on the audit of the Statutory financial statements
  • Provides audit responses and remediation as needed
  • Provide and drive operational improvement recommendations on the process
  • Support Ad Hoc projects as needed (ex. One Source, ERP, automation etc.)
