Sr Rotating Equipment Engineer

Responsiblity:

Aid in the design & development of equipment & systems, & redesign of existing systems

Review and verification of equipment supplier’s engineering, the testing and commissioning of equipment

Monitor equipment downtime with a focus on key process equipment

Provide technical support to the Chief Engineer and Chief Specialist, Rotating and Package Equipment

Conduct technical audits on project at the direction of the Chief Engineer, Rotating and Package Equipment

Advise Chief Engineer Rotating and Package Equipment on technical capability of staff as required

Assist with specification and selection of suitable rotating machinery, plus testing and commissioning of suitable equipment

Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications, such as Specification and Mechanical Data Sheets, for enquiry

Preparation of Equipment Technical Specifications for order and estimates for engineering and design manhours

Review of Process Data Sheets and Supplier documentation for integration within Project design, such as GA / Details / Calculations / Fabrication Procedures
