Sr Architect

Job Description

Primarily, a Senior Architect is expected to develop a project as needed, through all the design stages (concept/schematic to detail/construction drawings), while coordinating with all other disciplines and stakeholders. In the process, he will be in-charge of leading a project team of architect(s) and Revit / CAD technicians. He/she is also be expected to handle post contract duties on all design related matters during construction and aid the site team as required. He/she is also expected to mentor and guide junior architects and play a positive role in their growth.

Responsibilities

• Able to develop the project from after the concept stage to Schematic, detailed design and construction stages
• Able to design / detail / create & review project documents
• Creative in solving problems and finding with the best solution practice.
• Good knowledge of Structure and MEP systems and their implementation in the architectural layouts.
• Able to coordinate and manage subconsultants and other disciplines
• Able to scope potential projects / proposals, manage deliverables and schedules
• Supervising Junior Architects and assigning them tasks
• Ensuring all designs meet industry standards and government regulations

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
• Minimum of 12 years relevant experience
• Fully Conversant in BIM/REVIT delivery processes, CAD, Photoshop, Sketchup
