Job Summary
The incumbent would be accountable for leading & facilitating HR strategy implementation in the respective area by working closely with managers, while executing and implementing global/regional initiatives and
Specific Roles and Responsibilities
• Full spectrum of HR management with emphasis on Payroll, provide support on HR
general functions, HR administration and HR
• Provide in all aspect of Human Resource Management and Administrative functions including recruitment, compensation and benefits, employee rela-tions, training and development, performance management and other HR re-lated support
• Establish and execute plans for strategic HR activities and projects aligned with theneeds of the local business and the Leadership Team, according to availa-ble budgetand resources set by Site Manager
• Coach and Mentor Leaders in hiring decisions, remuneration decisions, people development and leadership team development
• Execute on talent management initiatives driven globally including but not limited to; employee engagement survey, performance management, succession planning, talent development and performance improvement initiatives
• Take a lead role in the business in creating an environment, which facilitates the growth and development of employees in line with the pace of, cultural and organizational change required
• Ensure that sound HR practice is in place in your area of responsibility and contributes to the development of an environment of fairness and consistency in terms of the manner in which employees are
• Act as the champion of cultural change within your area of responsibility
• Maintaining, recommending and revising the company’s human resource poli-cies and
• Ensure the company compliance with all statutory requirements in conditions of employment, transfers, promotion,
• Attend and handling employee counseling, grievance and disciplinary
• Provide full support for on boarding/off boarding of staff and
• Align HR practices between business units and locations in India
• As the HR contact person at India, act as “Site HR Lead” of the local Nilfisk HR Community, sharing local business information and providing local alignment as necessary
Skills, Competencies:
• Experienced in up/down scaling projects
• Experience with implementing global processes in the region
• Excellent coaching skills
• Mature sparring partner for management
Training & Experience:
• Bachelor / Diploma Human Resources or similar
• 5 years’ experience as HR Generalist/Operational in a production facility and in
an internationally operating company
• Experience with supporting managers in global functions
• Good knowledge of labor law for the region
• Fluent in local languages and English
