Job Description

  • Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning and other contractual works as per the route chart issued, with minimum assistance from the Supervisor. Report any abnormalities (interior as well as exterior), missing components etc. observed to the Supervisor.
  • Carry out adjustments and repairs (planned & unplanned) for elevators in the assigned area, with minimum assistance from the Supervisor.
  • Attend to equipment call-backs and complete inspection and fault finding within his capabilities to allow the equipment to be returned to service within the shortest time possible.
  • Report unresolved issues or potential problems observed to Supervisor and follow up to implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with COMPANY to ensure that the call backs assigned to him are attended within the contractual time limits. Report the actions/findings to COMPANY /Supervisor for proper record keeping and tracking.
  • Be available at any time on demand (only in case of emergencies)
  • Complete/update Timesheets, Log Cards, maintenance JHA, OSA forms, SVR sheets, COWD, 746 forms etc. associated with his duties in a clear and timely manner.
  • Observe all individual customer rules and regulations pertaining the respective site at which you are working. Any conflicts that arise with COMPANY policies/regulations should be referred to the respective Supervisor.
  • Be aware of COMPANY quality procedures, safe working procedures, WWJSSS requirement etc. and ensure 100% compliance to their requirement. Attend any training / Communication / technical courses by the company.
  • Strictly follow the safety rules and ensure that all activities are carried out in 100% compliance to safety requirement. Ensure adequate Personal Protective Equipment’s, supplied by the company, required are used while executing a particular work. Participate in safety activities such as safety training, audits etc. Report any accidents, near misses, potential hazards, unsafe conditions of elevator etc. that occur during work activity to the Supervisor.
  • To adhere to principles of the ACE/Service Excellence/internal controls.
  • To attend Code of Ethics online courses & obtain the required certification.
  • To strictly follow the company Code of Ethics and report any violation.
  • Never disclose or discuss any of the company’s trade secrets, technical/product details or any other confidential information with any person, firm, association or any other entity for any purpose or reason whatsoever.
  • Should deal effectively and courteously with customers on a day to day basis. Critical issues to be reported immediately to the Supervisor/Service Manager
  • Report directly to the Service Manager, any anomalies or problems that may require management intervention.
  • Any other duties, as directed by the Service Manager, that will help to improve the service delivery or business activities of COMPANY in the field of service and repairs.
