Senior QI Geophysicist

We are seeking a Senior Quantitative Interpretation (QI) Geophysicist with focus on Carbon Capture Usage and Storage (CCUS) to join the Geophysical Solutions Division (GPSD). The primary technical responsibility of the candidate within GPSD is to effectively characterize a potential CO2 storage site. This encapsulates a multitude of factors. First and foremost, to ascertain the storage capacity and containment of a reservoir. Next, to help monitor the status of the injected CO2 in the reservoir, and to manage the process of the injection itself. Hence, the task is multifaceted. Prior to CO2 injection, the approach will combine all the tools available for an integrated reservoir study. Thereafter, the task is to survey the CO2 plume, using an array of monitoring techniques. This will involve quantitative interpretation QI of seismic monitoring data.
